FAIRVIEW
Fairview’s giving opportunities:
Fairview is a not-for-profit organization providing independent retirement living, skilled nursing, and child development facilities on our Groton, Connecticut, campus overlooking the Thames River. Donations from our supporters enable us to continue our high standards of care while providing the latest in facilities for our residents.
Honor and Memorial Contributions
Contributions in memory of a loved one or to honor someone on a special day can be made to a specified fund (Patients Fund, Recreation, Building Fund, etc.) or to the Development Fund.
Annual Giving
Our Annual Campaign is the opportunity to support Fairview through the years. Your annual gift will be used for our program of continuously improving equipment and facilities.
Building Fund
Fairview embarked on a major building project in March of 2005 when it broke ground on a 16,246 square foot addition to our existing building and a renovation of our existing 120 bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility. The new addition and renovation was completed in 2007. The project has allowed us to provide 16 larger semi-private rooms, a large start-of-the-art rehabilitation center and a new bistro-café. Nursing stations have been enlarged and updated with the latest technology, new water view dining rooms and family lounges offer a relaxing place to enjoy a visit or a meal, and all of our residents rooms have been renovated and are equipped with telephones and free cable television. Planned giving can help you meet your overall financial, tax and estate planning objectives, while allowing you to aid in the future of Fairview. Fairview, along with your tax and legal advisors, can help you find the proper vehicle to meet your objectives.
