     At Fairview, we recognize that diet is one of the most important aspects of our residents lives and as such, we try to make our dining experiences exceptional from the food to the atmosphere in our dining rooms. Under the direction of a Registered Dietician, our well-trained, conscientious professional staff provides balanced meals and snacks to meet our resident’s nutritional needs.

     Our talented staff does their best to accommodate our residents' special requests and provides therapeutic diets as required. On holidays and "special occasions", the dietary staff joins with the recreation department to offer a variety of traditional meals, programs and entertainment.

      During the summer months, our Dietary Staff provides out-door picnics and barbeques for our residents and their families. All enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of dining outside, having meals cooked on the grill, and being able to watch the ships and boats on the Thames River.
